Do I need planning permission before work starts?
Since 1st October 2018, the rules of Permitted Development have changed and many home improvements can be undertaken without Planning Permission, under the rules of Permitted Development. It’s always best to check with your Local Authority before and work starts, just to make sure.
What is Building Control?
If you want to construct a new building or make changes to an existing building, your builder must comply with National Building Regulations. In your Local Authority, Building Control is a service to guide and advise homeowners and builders through the process.
What do I need to budget for?
Once the project has been seen, we’ll have a representative visit you, to provide you with an estimate, which will need to be agreed before any work starts. Should there be any additional costs incurred, we will communicate these to you and only commence additional work once you have agreed. We use local labour and will pass on any discounts where possible. We’ll always listen to your needs and budget before making any recommendations.
How long will the repair take?
Once we’ve assessed the work required, we’ll give you an estimated schedule of work and make sure to keep you informed at all times, of any changes, delays or issues. Building work comes with many variables, weather, suppliers, sickness to name just a few!
How do you work?
